Weekly Creator Update #3 – Lumen Universe Progress Report. – Quiet Feeds, Busy Minds: Behind the Scenes on What’s Next
This week’s been light on public posts, but that’s only because I’ve been deep in the trenches behind the scenes.
We’ve locked in the concept art style for Aristotle and have some early sketches in progress. Alongside that, three additional stories are moving through revision and formatting, and we’re getting ready to kick off concept art for those as well.
On the worldbuilding side, I’ve been refining the details of early Lumen colonization across the Milky Way, mapping out their vassalage systems with less advanced sapients, and building clearer historical progressions for multiple alien civilizations. This includes reconciling inconsistencies, smoothing logical progression, and locking down a firmer timeline for each era.
I’ve also been experimenting with a more concrete philosophical exploration model for the universe, developing snapshot records of alien civilizations across the ages to help build a richer historical narrative. It’s been a satisfying mix of big-picture philosophy and fine-grained historical detail.
